I've had a wonderful month of July in Dummer, New Hampshire with my lovely wife, Lorraine. We had a bear cub in the backyard and lots of moose wandering around nearby. Last weekend Lorraine's daughter, Leisl, presented us with our fourth grandchild, McGavin Bleick Turner. Mom and baby are fine.
Besides some nights at The Balsams I also played at a local ice cream social and motorcycle rally but am going to miss "Old Home Day" in Aug. Too bad as Lorraine might compete in the Women's Skillet Toss competition and I bought a chance for the Cowflop Poker, in which a cow is placed in a confined field that has been chalked off with a numbered grid and everyone waits with baited breath for Bossy to let it fly! Luckily I don't have to be present to win and seeing Lorraine heave a skillet might be too frightening for me!
